During our father's illness, he received the enthusiastic care of a team of nurses, doctors at London Royal Hospital, St Bartholomew's Hospital, University College London Hospital (UCLH) - Clinical Trial Research, Royal Princess Hospital and especially at St. Joseph Hospice for their fantastic palliative care. There are too many individuals to thank and our family is for ever grateful! In appreciation of their care towards our dad, we are raising money for St Joseph Hospice, Hackney, London. Last year St Joseph’s Hospice supported over 4,000 people. It costs £16.7 million each year to run hospice services and they receive merely 56% of this from the government. Therefore your generosity and goodwill of time and money to help them keep their services available to people who need their help at one of the most difficult times in people's lives.
